Terrorism and u.s policy
In september 11,2001 the terrorism attack on the world trade center and the pentagon.During the last 10 days the secretary of defence donald rumsfeld and secretary of the state colin powell they have repeatedly empasized that their long term is the objective of the destruction of the terrorism.The terrorism has hardly being ignored in the previous administrations.But in the beginning the reagan administration of the state Alexander Haig announced that the opposition to the terrorism would replace the carter administration on advancing human rights throughtout the world.The opposition to terrorism never really became the primary focus of the Reagan administration.Each of this paid attention to the issue and produced many imprtant documents that light on the policy that is faced today .Terrorism is been the subject of the presidential and defence department directives as executive orders.The terrorist groups and the terrorist acts have been the focus of reports by the executive branch agencies and the congressianol bodies including also the senate.The general office has also produced several reports evaluating the U.S government ability to prevent or mitigate terrorist strikes.The U.S government is to deal with the terrorism.
